THE RIVERSIDE THEATRE
The Riverside Theatre is located inside the Riverside Church at 91 Claremont Avenue between 120th and 122nd streets.

SUBWAY
Take the #1 IRT Broadway Local to 116th Street. Walk North along Broadway (passing Barnard College on the left)
to 120th Street (Reinhold Niebuhr Place). Turn left and walk one block to Claremont Avenue. 91 Claremont is
one half block North of 120th Street on the left hand side of the street.
BUS
Take the M-104, M-4 or M-5 to 120th or 122nd Street.
DRIVING
Driving North: Take the Henry Hudson Parkway northbound to the 95th Street Exit, turn left (continuing north) on Riverside Drive.
The church is located at 120th Street.
Driving South: Take the Henry Hudson Parkway south bound to the 125th Street Exit. Drive
straight to 125th Street. Turn left onto 125th Street. Take 125th Street to Broadway. (You’ll see the
elevated train tracks at Broadway.) Turn right onto Broadway and go to 120th Street (Reinhold Niebuhr Place) and turn
right. The church is one block West of Broadway.
PARKING
The Claremont Avenue Garage is operated by Rapid Park Inc., 212.866.1000, and is open to the public during the
following hours: Monday through Sunday 7am - 12 midnight. The garage is located beneath the church’s
South Wing. The entrance is on 120th Street between Riverside Drive and Claremont Avenue. There is a parking fee.
HORACE MANN THEATRE
The Horace Mann Theater is located in the basement of Teachers College at 525 120th Street.
By Bus: Four bus routes include stops at West 120th Street: M4, M5, M11, M104
By Subway: Take the 1/9 local subway to the 116th Street Station; walk North on Broadway to West
120th Street. Teachers College is on the north side of West 120th Street, between Broadway and
Amsterdam Avenue.
By Car: The Henry Hudson Parkway (West Side Highway) is convenient to Teachers College. The highway
can be reached from most of the main routes entering New York City. Whether driving North or South,
leave the West Side Highway at the 96th Street exit; at the first traffic light turn left (North)
onto Riverside Drive; at 120th Street turn right and go two blocks east to the College.
SCHAPIRO STUDIO & SCHAPIRO THEATRE
Schapiro Theatre and Schapiro Studio are located downstairs in Schapiro Hall, 605 W 115th Street.
SUBWAY
Take the #1 IRT Broadway Local to 116th Street. Walk South on Broadway one block and turn right on 115th Street.
Schapiro Hall is half a block west on your right, between Riverside Drive and Broadway.
